It’s that time again! Top Ten Tuesday!
(Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by the awesome folks over at The Broke and the Bookish. You should totally check them out!)

This week’s top ten: Top Ten Books That Feature Travel (in some way)

This is going to be a toughie for me. I don’t read a lot of books that feature traditional travel. I have a lot on my to-read list… but I mean, my TBR pile is currently thousands of books long. So, for the sake of the list, my definition of “travel” might be a little looser than most.

The Fionavar Tapestry by Guy Gavriel Kay – Epic fantasy travel.

The Time Traveler’s Wife by Audrey Niffenegger – Time travel.

Outlander by Diana Gabaldon – Time travel.

Looking For Alaska by John Green – Main character travels to a boarding school

Feed by Mira Grant – The team of bloggers travels across zombie-infested America.

Ender's GameRhapsodyCastle In The AirWrinkle in TimeHitchhiker's Guide

Ender’s Game by Orson Scott Card – Ender travels from his home on Earth to Battle School.

Rhapsody by Elizabeth Haydon – More epic fantasy travel, this time through the center of the earth!

Castle In The Air by Diana Wynne Jones – Our main character finds himself in posession of a magic carpet. Oh the places he goes!

A Wrinkle in Time by Madeleine L’Engle – A penultimate time and space travel novel.

The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams – It has been forever since I read this one, but it is a fun romp.

  2. I LOVE Time Traveler’s Wife! I don’t even know how many times I’ve reread that book and I still love it so much. Also, loved loved Outlander as well!

Talk bookish to me!
