Top Ten Tuesday: FALLing for Book Covers

October 10, 2017     The Bluestocking Bookworm     Books, Reading

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by the fine folks over at The Broke and the Bookish. They totally rock, so check them out!

This week’s topic is Ten Covers That Make You Think of Fall. So, I went through my Goodreads and found some books that make me think “OMG YES FALL!” for your enjoyment. What makes a cover fall-like for me? Well, it is mostly in the colours used. The rich golds and reds that invoke beautiful piles of leaves. There are a few Halloween-esque covers thrown in (nothing too scary or creepy, I promise!) as well, since Halloween is the best part of fall in my humble opinion. For this list, I picked all books I haven’t actually read, so the whole “fall” thing is judged entirely on the cover alone.

And so, on to the list! (As always, in no particular order… click on the cover image to go to Goodreads!)

I am really loving the current trend of minimal covers with one or two colors on them. Those ones really speak to me as dark and gothic and lovely. Some of these covers are really literal, while others are more obscure and interpretive. I love them all, though!

So, awesome nerds… what book covers make you think of fall? Do you have any of the same ones that I do? Link me up to your TTT, or comment below!

Stay bookish, lovelies!

Talk bookish to me!

Oh! I really want to read All the Crooked Saints! I love Maggie Stiefvater. The Raven Boys is one of my favorites, and Forever made my TTT list.
