A while back, I was worried about how I was going to get through all of my ARC copies for the rest of the year. I was planning on doing a catch up event for people in the same boat as me. And then someone on Twitter pointed me towards the lovely Read.Sleep.Repeat blog and their ARC August event! All of the fun and none of the planning headaches!

I recently took to Wunderlist to add all of my ARC copies. There is one To-Do List item for the reading of the book, and one for the review, so that I can remind myself to actually read the book before the review is due. As you can see, I am a little booked up for the next few months. So, what is my TBR list going to look like? Well, let me show you! There are 15 books from NetGalley, and one book that is a previous book in the series that I grabbed from Amazon for cheap, so I could read the sequel for NetGalley. Here we go!

When They Come Calling by Sarah Fleming Mountford
When They Come True by Sarah Fleming Mountford
Hex-Rated by Jason Ridler

Strange Alchemy by Gwenda Bond
The Tiger’s Watch by Julia Ember — This title will have a BLOG TOUR on August 11!
Perfume Therapy by Kirsty McManus

The New Voices of Fantasy edited by Peter S. Beagle and Jacob Weisman
The Epic Crush of Genie Lo by F.C. Yee
The List by Patricia Forde

Antisocial by Heidi Cullinan
Magpie’s Song by Allison Pang
Counting Wolves by Michael F. Stewart

Wings Unseen by Rebecca Gomez Farrell
Mask of Shadows by Linsey Miller
Zero Repeat Forever by G.S. Prendergast

Starswept by Mary Fan

That is a lot of books! I generally average somewhere between 8 and 12, so 16 is going to be pushing it for me. But I am up to the challenge!

Do you have a backlog of ARCs you need to read? How do you manage to stay on top of them?

Stay bookish, lovelies!

  1. I’m totally doing this challenge too; I so need the motivation! You’ve got a lot of reading to do, but you can do it! Happy reading! 😀

  2. You can do it. I would really like to see your whole list – I bet we have a lot in common. I have Strange Alchemy, Mask of Shadows, and Magpie’s Song. I wish you the best of luck on these and can’t wait to see some reviews!

  3. First, thank you for pointing me to Wunderlist. I am going to check it out! (My predictive text wants to convert that to Wanderlust!)

I am also going to be awaiting your thoughts on The List! That sounds like a fantastic book and I am hoping to read it soon as well. I have two more books that I absolutely must read in August (one for book club and one for a round robin) and then I hope to follow my bliss with one of the pending ARCs.

Talk bookish to me!
