Summer 2017 Comment Challenge – I’m In, Are You?

So, the lovely folks at A Kernel of Nonsense (Alicia) and Flylef Reviews (Lonna) are hosting this challenge for July 2017. The point of it is to be paired up with another blogger, and to get to know that blogger through commenting on their blog throughout the month.

I think this is great for a few reasons.

  • It means you have to post more, so your partner can comment.
  • There are so many book bloggers I still don’t know, and this is a great way to connect
  • Alicia and Lonna have included all areas of book blogging for matchmaking, including non-fiction!

I have never taken part in this challenge before, but I am really excited to this summer. I don’t know who my match is, but I plan to comment on as many posts as I can of theirs.

Have you ever done a challenge like this? Will you maybe take part in this one?

Stay bookish, lovelies!

Top Ten Tuesday: Top Ten First Books In New Series I’ve Recently Added To My TBR

 toptentuesday

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by the fine folks over at The Broke and the Bookish. They totally rock, so check them out!

This week’s topic was a bit of a wildcard – “10 Books From X Genre That I’ve Recently Added To My TBR List” is the official line. But, as it is a truth universally acknowledged that a bookworm in the middle of eleventy billion series will always find more to start… I thought I would tackle Top Ten First Books In New Series I’ve Recently Added To My TBR. These aren’t so much a top ten this week as the ten most recent. Click on the covers to go to the Goodreads page for the book.

In no particular order, as always!

(There are links to pre-order or purchase the books below. Bluestocking Bookworm may make a small commission from purchases made using these links. Thank you!)
